A short story about Love Language…
Meet Maggie Chen, owner and mind behind Love Language. Maggie’s intro to the wedding and event’s industry stemmed from her background as an artist and also from her love of weddings. She is a San Francisco native, who started her professional sign painting career more than a decade ago. Painting signs and murals for Trader Joe’s, local shops and cafes around the Bay Area eventually led her to creating custom signage for weddings and events. When she got married to the love of her life in 2017, she planned her whole wedding from start to finish and also created a full custom signage suite for her event. After accomplishing that full year of wedding planning and creating decor, she ended the experience happily married and also with a newfound passion and love for the wedding industry.
She quickly got a job working with one of California’s leading event planning companies, and from there, the rest is history. Maggie has been a lead planner for weddings and events for the past six plus years, working on forty plus events and counting. She is familiar with working with countless Northern California venues and vendors, and is consistently seeking to build new relationships and friendships.
Planning a wedding or event of any size can be intimidating and stressful for many. From her experience working with a wide spectrum of clients, she had come to realize that there are those who need a planner to take charge and hold hands the whole way, but there are also those who may just need a little nudge or two in the right direction, or who may not have the budget for a full planner, but still need assistance. That is when the idea of Love Language was born. Combining her passion and love for events and art, Love Language offers event planning consultations and coordination’s that are custom to your needs and budget along with signage design and production. It all begins with an idea and Maggie is here to help make your dreams and visions a reality!
